Berks Fire Water Supports the Walk to Defeat ALS
Often referred to as Lou Gehrig’s Disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of an ALS patient averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis.
We know the devastating effects of this terrible disease all too well, Charlie’s wife and daughter are Berks Fire Water Restorations’ employees. This is our team’s 4th Walk to Defeat ALS! Although Charlie is now our Angel, we continue to strive to raise awareness and funding for treatment in his honor. We will not quit until there is a cure!
We hope you will join us in defeating ALS! Thank you.
