When I arrived at 6 a.m. on Friday to fill in for the regular police reporter, I was just happy that I’d made it to work on time. It was a good thing, because the day quickly turned busy. The first order of business was to check in on the cleanup of a Thursday night fire at the Boscov’s Fairgrounds Market.

When I stopped in the market, I saw more that 100 volunteers and contractors wiping down the booths and cleaning the air ducts out. The team effort was quite impressive.
