Reading, Pennsylvania – Tyler Schoenly was promoted to Team Leader for Berks • Fire • Water Restorations, Inc.℠ as of Monday, October 16th. In his new role, Schoenly will be responsible for heading all roof inspections for Project Managers, helping to relieve the workload from current team leaders, assigning work to his new crew while still working hands-on himself. He will also act as a liaison to home owner’s project managers and to Pat Detweiler, our head of construction production. Schoenly explains that he will oversee everything from “initial inspection of new jobs assigned to my team to seeing them through to completion.”

Prior to his promotion, Schoenly was a Carpenter/ Restoration Technician at Berks • Fire • Water Restorations. He joined our team in December of 2015 with a large background of experience. A 2003 graduate of Berks Career Tech: Building Construction and Boyertown Area Senior High, Schoenly started working in his field as a roofing and siding general contractor for Robert McCormick. He also gained experience through completing plumbing work at Worth & Co. Inc., hardwood floor installs and refinishing at Universal Flooring, and through work on kitchens, baths, decks, windows, doors, roofing, siding, painting, drywall, and more through his own construction company in collaboration with general contractor, Bob Waters, from 2009 to 2015.

“I’m honored to be given the opportunity, and I’m excited to get started in leading an additional team of dedicated professionals to help you get your home back to normal…or BETTER THAN EVER,” says an excited Schoenly about his recent promotion. We look forward to what the future holds for Tyler at BFW and are grateful to have him on our team!
